Newborn sessions take place 7-21 days after your baby is born for the perfect amount of sleepiness, floppiness, and squishiness.
Hi! I'm Laura
When we got married almost 5 years ago (wowza - it goes so fast!), it was difficult to find both a photographer and a videographer who had a similar style and approach. So, we decided to create the photo + video experience we wanted.
Now, we've been awarded both Best Photography AND Best Videography by Nebraska Wedding Day.
Being a husband and wife team, we work together not only on wedding days, but every day. We know exactly how to make a wedding day flow in an efficient, but relaxed, manner that allows for an easy, enjoyable experience for everyone.

How it Works
Choose between a signature newborn session or a first year membership. Memberships include up to three sessions, which is perfect if you want maternity, newborn, and first birthday sessions. You also get a discount for additional sessions, such as pregnancy announcements or six-month milestone sessions.
BOOKING
PLANNING
After booking, you'll receive a session prep + styling inspo guide. Once you’ve had some time to dream up your session vision, you’ll fill out a questionnaire to let me know what you’re envisioning! A few weeks before your session, we'll get together over Zoom to match locations, outfits, and props to your vision.
Newborn sessions are in the morning for the best indoor lighting; you can choose the natural light studio or your home for the location. Newborn sessions generally take 1-2 hours. The first part will focus on full family connection, and the second part will be solos of the newborn with a variety of wraps/outfits/poses.
SESSION DAY
GALLERY REVEAL
4-6 weeks after your session, we’ll meet for your gallery reveal! You'll get to view your full gallery (& highlight film, if applicable) for the very first time! You’ll pick your favorite images from the gallery and choose to purchase them through digital collections, prints, or albums. Chosen images will receive touch-up edit (stray hairs, blemishes, etc.)
The images you purchase during the gallery reveal will be available in a private (but shareable) online gallery a week after your reveal date. Images are downloadable in high-resolution (best for printing) and web-resolution (best for saving to your phone & social media). If you added on a highlight film, it will also be in your gallery.

PRINTS & ALBUMS
Your reveal is also when we can order albums, prints, products, and gifts. You simply choose what you love, and I’ll take care of placing orders, shipping, and delivery! All prints & products are ordered through a professional photography lab that I am calibrated with for highest quality. Full pricing is available at booking.

Digital Files

Digital image files are NOT included with the $300 session reservation fee. This is so you can choose your favorites and how you want purchase them, whether that be through digital + print collections, just digitals, an album, etc.
Payments
+
The first payment of 300 is the non-refundable retainer and pays to save your session date + all the prep included. Payment options include credit card, ACH transfer, Venmo, and check. Payments for collections & a la carte items are due during your gallery reveal.
Locations

Most newborn sessions take place in my natural light studio or in your own home. Outdoor sessions are also an option. We can chat together about which location will work best for you!
Gallery Reveal
+
You will get an email to choose your gallery reveal date and time once all your images are ready. Gallery reveals are offered in-person at my home office (perfect for choosing album covers, paper types, etc.) or via Zoom.
Print Rights
+
You do get the print rights for purchased digital images. However, by ordering at your gallery reveal, I personally guarantee the quality of everything you purchase. Plus, my white-glove ordering and delivery service ensures a stress-free process for you.
