FAQ's
Do you offer payment plans? Yes! You get to choose between three payment options:
1. The retainer (1/3 total) due to confirm your booking and the final payment (2/3 total) one month before the wedding day.
2. 1/3 total due to confirm your booking (retainer), 1/3 total due halfway between the booking date and wedding date, and the final 1/3 due one month before the wedding day.
3. $1000 down for the retainer, then the remaining balance due is split into monthly payments with the final payment due a month before the wedding day.
Is the retainer refundable? The retainer is non-refundable as it holds your wedding date on my calendar, and I will pass on other wedding inquiries.
How soon do we need to decide to book you by? I do not hold wedding dates unless a retainer payment has been paid and a contract has been signed. Once I send a contract, you have one week to sign it and pay the retainer; if that is not done after one week, and I haven't heard from you, I will open your wedding date to new inquiries.
How do you keep our images safe? Our cameras hold two SD cards, so every photo and video we take is saved on each SD card. We also have a backup camera and lenses in the event that something would break on a main camera or lens. Once I get home, I upload all the images from the SD cards onto two different hard drives. I do not delete any photos from either SD card until I have delivered your gallery.
Are you insured? Yes! I have business insurance. I'm happy to provide that to your venue if they require it.
How long have you been photographing weddings? Over seven years!
What equiptment do you use? My main two camera bodies (for photo/video) are Canon Mark IVs. I have a third Mark IV as a backup camera. For lenses, I use a Canon 35mm, Canon 85mm, Canon 50mm, Canon 24-70mm, and Canon 70-200mm. I also have a Speedlite Flash for receptions or indoor venues. Additionally, I have lots of extra batteries and SD cards at all times!
Do you have experience with different types of religious ceremonies? Yes! I am Catholic and received the sacrament of marriage at church, so I understand Catholic weddings very well. I have also photographed several Lutheran, non-denominational, and Presbyterian weddings. I was a part of a Morman wedding, so I understand Temple weddings, as well.
How can I set up an adventure engagement session? Check where my upcoming travel is - if I have an opening in a spot you're interested in, there is no travel fee (for your included engagement session time)! If I'm not traveling to where you would like to take engagement photos at the right time, then we can add the adventure session upgrade and uniquely plan your engagement session!
Can we see a full wedding gallery? Yes! Fill out the booking form below and I will send a gallery or two your way.
